Hadron/gamma identification of showers observed by EC's

Description

Fluctuations of hadron- and gamma-induced showers, which are observed by emulsion chambers, are studied making use of simulated showers. An algorithm is formulated to analyze gamma- and hadron-induced showers. The algorithm is applied to the showers observed by Pamir thick lead chambers, and its results are presented
