Joint of KEK Tanashi heavy ion linac with JAERI tandem baster superconducting linac

Description
We obtained the conclusion that KEK Tanashi heavy ion linac could be joined with JAERI Tandem booster superconducting linac. KEK Tanashi heavy ion linac consists of SCRFQ and IH-1. For this purpose, the frequency of SCRFQ and IH-I should increase about 2 % and more than about 2 MeV/u IH-2 should be constructed after IH-1 in order to keep the acceleration efficiency of superconducting linac. Change of about 2 % of frequency of normal conduction linac is obtained by small remodeling such as decrease of cavity inductance. Moreover, it is necessary to investigate carefully the problems and the change method of the frequency of SCRFQ and IH-1 and ability of superconducting linac to capture and accelerate the beam from IH linac.
