Description

Infrared (400-4000 cm-1) and combination scattering (CS) (30-4000 cm-1) spectra have been studied for MX2 and MX2 x 2L complexes, where M = Zn, Cd, and Cu; X = Cl, Br, I, NCS, and NCO; L is nicotine hydrazide. It is shown that in zinc complexes and in CdI2 x L x 0.5C2H2OH the molecules of nicotine hydrazide have bidentate and bridge functions simultaneously. In copper thiocyanate complex the molecules of nicotine hydrazide are connected with the metal by nitrogen atoms of aminogroup and heterocycle; in cadmium thiocyanate complex nicotine hydrazide has a bidentate function
