Description

In this work the thermal and mechanical properties of the PE foam were improved using the electron beam irradiation. The PE foams were made adding 5-20 percents blowing a-ent to the low-density polyethylene (LDPE). The best compound was found under investigation of different percent of blowing agent, temperature effects and additives. The absorbed dose value to obtain the optimum properties was found using the 1 0 MeV electron beam irradiation Rhodotron accelerator. (Author)
