Electron bound by a magnetic field perpendicular to interface

  • 1. Chernovitskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Chernovtsy (Ukrainian SSR)

Description

Problem of determining energy spectrum of electron, bound by magnetic field perpendicular to interface, is solved. It was found, that energy spectrum of bound electron, represented a set of hydrogen-like series under each Landau level. Electron is localized at the distance of tens of lattice constants from interface. This is a convincing reason for realistic character of the chosen model of potential
