Angular distribution of ions scattered by monocrystal surface semichannels

Description

The angular distribution of ions scattered by monocrystal surface semichannels is obtained using the impulse approximation. The computation is carried out in the case when ions reflected from the row of second-layer atoms pass between two rows of first-layer atoms. The calculated results are compared with experimental distributions obtained for 10-35 keV Ar+ ions scattered from the Cu(001) surface
