Thermal hydraulics design of a backup solid target for neutron source

Description

This paper presents on the thermal hydraulic design of the water cooled backup solid target for high energy accelerator for nuclear spallation neutron source. Thermal hydraulic conditions of the target design are discussed. A method to change the temperature conditions to water fraction and minimum thickness was proposed. (author)
