Alloying element segregation during directed crystallization of eutectic alloys
Description
Segregation of alloying elements along the length of directly crystattized ptane-front ingots of eutectic Ni base alloys with γ/γ'-NbC, γ'-Mo structures is studied. It is shown that the volume part of NbC and Mo whickers, their mean diameter and packing tightness are defined a by the part of crystallized melt and rate of directed growth. The analysis of the segregation effect alloying elements on temperature of liquidus, solidus and solvus of the γ' phase in g/gA-NbC eutectics is given
