Observation of variability in radon concentration in the gases of eruptive seams

Description

The methods and the results of preliminary measurements of radon concentration in the gases emitted in coal seams threatened with gases and rocks eruptions have been presented. The changes of concentrations are given in the function of excavation progress. The nature of radon concentration changes points to relationship between radon concentration and the probability of the occurrence of eruption. 4 refs., 2 figs. (author)
