Charged particle dynamics in a field of an intense transverse electromagnetic wave

Description
Solution, describing in a laboratory system the charged particles dynamics both of fast and slow transverse electromagnetic waves with arbitrary value of intensity field is presented. The interaction area dimensions, wherein the particles are effectively exchanging energy with the field, are determined. Frequency oscillations dependence of both fly-over and trapped particles on the wave field intensity is identified. The conditions, whereby the particles are accelerated by the wave, and the conditions, whereby the particles transfer the energy to the wave, are formulated. 14 refs
