Description
The γ-α transformation, the change in the internal magnetic field of α ferrite, and the kind and quantity of carbide phase precipitation in the spring steel 62SiCr5 were determined by conversion electron Moessbauer spectroscopy and Moessbauer transmission spectroscopy. The investigations were performed after conventional and high-temperature thermomechanical treatment with subsequently tempering between 293 K and 698 K. (author)
