Experiments on the reaction π-p → π0π0n and their contributions to the knowledge of ππ-interaction
Description
The status of our experimental knowledge of ππ-interaction is presented. Special attention is given to the contributions from experiments which measured the reaction π-p → π0π0n. The publication contains also an introduction to the basic theoretical aspects of ππ-scattering and describes the extraction of ππ-scattering from the reaction πN → ππN. The origin of the ambiguities in the phase shifts is discussed. In the last part a description of the experimental set ups and techniques is given. (orig.)

Der Stand der experimentellen Kenntnisse ueber die ππ-Wechselwirkung wird dargestellt. Besonders diskutiert werden die Beitraege der Experimente, die die Reaktion π-p → π0π0n gemessen haben. Die Arbeit enthaelt auch eine Einfuehrung in die theoretischen Grundfakten der ππ-Streuung und beschreibt die Extraktion der ππ-Streuung aus der Reaktion πN → ππN. Auf die prinzipielle Mehrdeutigkeit der Phasenloesungen wird eingegangen. Im letzten Teil werden die experimentellen Anordnungen und Messtechniken beschrieben. (orig.)
