Scanning tunneling spectroscopy of YBa2Cu3Ox thin films
Creators
- 1. The Dept. of Physics, The Univ. of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta (Canada)
Description
Scanning tunneling spectroscopy has been performed on YBa2Cu3Ox thin films at 4.2K. The topographic data suggest that while most of the surface of the film is conduction, there do exist regions of low surface conductivity. Spectroscopic measurements indicate that in some areas superconductivity does extend out to the surface of the films
