Magnetic and structural phase transitions in CeP under high pressure
- 1. Department of Physics, Anna University, Chennai (India)
Description
The electronic structure studies under high pressure in cerium monophosphide (CeP) using tight binding muffin-tin orbital (TB-LMTO) method confirmed the transition from ferromagnetic (FM) to non-magnetic (NM) state in NaCl(B1) phase around 3.4 GPa and to non-magnetic CsCl(B2) phase around 18.5 GPa. The values of magnetic moment and bulk modulus are also reported. (author)
