Investigations into some aspects of the atomic three and four particle problems
Creators
Description
Three and four particle atomic systems have been investigated within the scheme of a reduction of the Schroedinger equation which involves no approximation and stems from the simplicity of the Hamiltonian. The thesis is presented under the headings: (1) Introductory discussion. (2) Mathematics of coordinate transformation. (3) The three electron atom. (4) The diatomic two electron molecule. (5) The two electron atom. (6) The wavefunction singularities. (7) Electron scattering limits. (8) Variational calculation for helium. (U.K.)
