Description
Since 1981 the JINR 4.5 GeV/nucleon synchrophasotron accelerates a polarized deuteron beam. A cryogenic source of a polarized deuterons POLARIS and some experimental equipment used for this purpose are briefly described. copyright 1995 American Institute of Physics
