The purpose of TRAN-STAT is to stimulate thinking about how better use can be made of statistics in the design and analysis of environmental transuranic studies. Topics discussed include current statistical studies on the quantitative aspects of plutonium field studies, appropriate data summaries for transuranic studies, and new statistical references of interest
