Luminescence of advanced inorganic - organic - rare earth ions materials and their application

Description
Optical properties of the powder of BaFCl:Eu materials, the thin films of (1-x)SiO2-xTiO2and the thin films containing Rodamine B, Rodamine 6G prepared by a sol gel technique were investigated. The decay time of all transitions of Eu were recorded and compared. New optical materials, the (1-x)SiO2-xTiO2 thin films were prepared by the sol gel technique with different molar ratio of x: 0, 0.15, 0.20, 0.25. Optical properties were investigated and the influence of the Ti concentration to the refractive index of SiO2-TiO2 thin films were presented. BaFCl:Eu is used in the imaging technique as the intensifying screen and (1-x)SiO2-xTiO2 thin films will be promising materials for planar wave guide device
