Development and application of a new type of pocket-sized adiation detection alarm device

Description
Software and hardware designs of a pocket-sized radiation detection alarm device based on monolithic integrated circuit and measuring method of Time-to-Count technology are introduced. This method can improve the measuring accuracy. Circuits of the pocket-sized radiation detection alarm device were designed based on Time-to-Count technology. The device consists of G-M counting tube, signal dealing module circuit, monolithic module circuit, liquid crystal display, alarm circuit and power conversion circuit. It has the advantages of low power consumption, high performance, high accuracy,easy maintenance, small size, simple operation. (authors)
