The GDR γ-ray observation in 12C induced reaction on 159Tb, 197Au and 209Bi at 46.7 MeV/u
- 1. Academia Sinica, Lanzhou, GS (China). Inst. of Modern Physics
Description
In very hot nuclei with the temperature more than the critical temperature, no GDR (Giant dipole resonance) γ-ray decay can be observed. This is confirmed by the experiment with reaction systems of 46.7 MeV/u 12C + 159Tb, 197Au and 209Bi, where the γ-ray in coincidence with single fragment or with a fission partner is measured
