Investigation of Neutron Resonances in Rh103

Description
Transmission, scattering, and capture measurements for several Rh103 samples were carried out with the slow neutron spectrometer of the Neutron Physics Laboratory of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. The measurements were performed at resolutions of 0.04, 0.08 and 0.05 μSec/m. The parameters of 17 resonances and the spins of 8 levels were determined. A deviation from the Porter-Thomas law with a single degree of freedom has been found. It can be explained by the fact that from 4 to 5 resonances are due to neutrons with orbital momenta l = 1. Force functions for neutrons with l = 0 and l = 1 were computed under these assumptions

На спектрометре медленных нейтронов Лаборатории нейтронной физики Объединенного института ядерных исследований проведены измерения пропускания, рассеяния и захвата для нескольких образцов Rh103 при разрешении 0,04; 0,05 и 0,08 мксек/м. Определены параметры 17 резонансов. Для восьми уровней определены спины. В распределении приведенных нейтронных ширин обнаружено отклонение от закона Портера-Томаса с одной степенью свободы, которое можно объяснить тем, что 4-5 резонансов обусловлены действием нейтронов с орбитальным моментом l = 1. В таком предположении вычислены силовые функции для нейтронов с l = 0 и l = 1Files
