Thermal and physical properties of Y, Gd and Sm hexaborides at 700-1200 K

Description
The temperature dependence of heat capacity and temperature conductivity of YB6, GdB6 and SmB6 have been studied in the 700-1200 K range by the method of flat temperature waves. On the basis of the results obtained and of density of the materials under investigation, their heat conductivities in the temperature range studied have been calculated. The results on SmB6 heat capacity well agree with the literature
