Description
Superconducting samples from starting compositions Y(Ba1-xCax)2Cu3O7-δ at 0 ≤ chi ≤ 1 are prepared at various Tsint. It was found that the sintering temperature needs to be increased with x. Superconducting chains of Y-Ca-Cu-O with a volume fraction below 5% were formed in samples with a very high overall normal state resistivity, when sintered above 10700C. The zero resistance point for such samples was at about 70-80 K
