Pressure tube type reactors
Description
Purpose: To suppress the flowrate reduction in a pressure tube upon occurrence of small ruptures in an inlet pipe to thereby control the temperature rise in a fuel can after the occurrence of the ruptures. Constitution: A flowrate adjusting inlet orifice is disposed at the juncture between the pressure tube and the inlet pipe. As the result, when a small rupture should be resulted in the inlet pipe, flowrate at the upstream of the small rupture is increased, whereby the flowrate in the pressure tube does not vary significantly even if the flow released from the small rupture is increased thereby enabling to control the temperature rise in the fuel can.
