The nonradiative energy-transfer process in Nd-doped laser glasses
Description
One of the key properties of any laser glass is the fluorescence quantum efficiency, which depends upon both the radiative and the nonradiative transition probability of activate ions. In inorganic glass the effect of glass composition on the nonradiative transition probability is more prominent than that on the radiative transition probability. The present paper centers on the effect of glass composition on the nonradiative energy-transfer process in Nb-doped laser glasses
