Comparison between triangular plate elements based on Mindlin theory

Description

Three triangular plate elements with 9 degrees of freedom are presented. They are based on Midlin plate theory which requires only C0 continuity for the interpolation functions of the displacement field. Their formulations and the results of some static problems are presented. It is shown that the elements are very similar, while simple and efficient, and they can be used in the solution of non linear transient problems of nuclear reactor technology economically. (Author)

Mostram-se tres elementos de placa triangulares com 9 graus de liberdade. Eles sao baseados na teoria das placas de Mindlin que requer somente continuidade C0 para as funcoes de interpolacao do campo de deslocamento. Sao apresentadas suas formulacoes e os resultados das solucoes de alguns problemas estaticos. Mostra-se que os elementos sao bastante semelhantes, alem de simples e eficientes, podendo ser utilizados economicamente na solucao de problemas transitorios nao lineares da tecnologia de reatores nucleares.
