Description
We report the results of electron paramagnetic resonance studies of GdX (X=As, Sb, Bi, S, Se). The temperature dependence of the linewidth ΔH and effective g-factor g/sub eff/ are discussed. Values for the Neel temperature T/sub n/ are inferred from coincident anomalies in ΔH and g/sub eff/. In the cases of X=S and Se, our estimates of T/sub n/ are significantly lower than the T/sub n/ inferred from static susceptibility measurements. A possible source of the discrepancy is discussed
