Study on determination of trace zinc in primary circuit of PWR
Description
A method has been developed to determine trace zinc in primary circuit of pressurized-water reactor by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry. The working conditions of the instrument, the choice of blank solution, the effects of boric acid and lithium hydroxide, and the stability about zinc has been studied in this paper. The recovery percentage is 96.7%∼105.0%. The relative standard deviation for 2 μg/L Zn is 3.7%, and the detection limit is 0.12 μg/L. The method has been applied to determine zinc in the experimental primary circuit of PWR, and the results are satisfied. (authors)
