Description

We study fluctuations of the particle number and charge in strongly interacting pion gas with dynamically fixed number of particles, which might be formed in heavy-ion collisions at ultra-relativistic energies. Expressions for the cross-covariances of the number of various particle species are derived within the self-consistent Hartree approximation. We analyze behavior of particle fluctuations at temperatures approaching the critical temperature of the Bose-Einstein condensation. While the scaled variance of the total particle number in a symmetrical system with respect to all sorts of particles proves to be finite at T=Tc, but the scaled variance of the charge diverges

Abstract (Russian)

Изучены флуктуации числа частиц и заряда в сильновзаимодействующем нагретом пионном газе с динамически фиксированным числом частиц, который может быть сформирован в столкновениях тяжёлых ионов при ультрарелятивистских энергиях. В самосогласованном приближении Хартри получены выражения для дисперсии числа частиц разных сортов. Анализируется поведение флуктуаций числа пионов разного сорта при температуре близкой к критической температуре Бозе-Эйнштейновской конденсации. Нормированная дисперсия полного числа частиц в симметричной относительно всех сортов частиц среде оказывается конечной при T=Tc, а нормированная дисперсия заряда расходится
