Study on the neutron sensitivity of Si-PIN detector to direct radiations

Description
The experimental method of sensitivity calibration for Si-PIN detector on K-600 neutron generator is introduced in details. The experimental sensitivity of Si-PIN detector to direct neutron radiations is presented as well. Meanwhile, the theoretical values of Si-PIN detectors' sensitivity at several specific neutron energies are also calculated by using MCNP code. The results show that the theoretical values are in good agreement with the experimental data. (authors)
