Removal of nuclear wastes and status of the owner of the storage land

Description
This article comments a case in which a landowner, the ASN and a town mayor were involved. The conclusion was that the owner of a land on which polluted wastes and more precisely radioactive wastes are present is not necessarily considered as their owner, and therefore not responsible of their removal. The author discusses the applicable legal texts, the nature of the contentious. He also discusses the different aspects of legality
