On a topological classification of the yield-mass curves of fission fragments
Description
Using a topological model of Catastrophe Theory, it is proposed a classification of the yield-mass curves of fission fragments according to their morphologies. From this classification it appears that the well known asymmetric component for fission of nuclei heavier than Fr, would probably emerge and gradually increase from Bi or Po

Une classification des courbes de distribution de masse des fragments de fission est proposee, d'apres leur morphologie, en utilisant un modele topologique de la Theorie des Catastrophes. Cette classification laisse a supposer que la composante asymetrique, bien connue pour la fission des noyaux au-dela du Fr, pourrait emerger et s'accentuerait graduellement a partir du Bi ou du PoFiles
