Codes for thermal hydraulic analyses of containments. Rev. 3

Creators

Description

The codes selected (particularly with respect to design basis accidents at Czech NPPs) and described include the following concentrated parameter codes: MELCOR, DRASYS, RALOC, and COCOSYS. Also mentioned are TRACO, HEPRO, CONTAIN, and WAVCO. The applicability of CFD codes, such as GOTHIC, CATHARE, TRIO-U, GASFLOW, CFX, FLUENT and FLUTAN, is discussed as well. (P.A.)
