Persoppel doses due to administratiop of sup(99m)Tc-labelled radiopharmaceuticals
Description
The ostimation of personnel radiation safety during adminis-- tration of radiopharmaceuticals (RP) to patients is performed and methods to decrease radiation doses for personnel are determined. Irradiation doses have been measured thermoluminescent dosemeters. It is shown that while administering sUp(99m)Tc-labelled RP, with average activity 5 mCi in a syringe of 2 ml volume personnel exposure for single administration constitutes in average: for hands-2mR (0.02 mGy), for body-0.4 mR (0.004 mGy). As methods to decrease dose exposure it is suggested to use protection devices in the course of manipulations with syringe containing RP
