Search for the violation of time-reversal invariance in K/sub μ3/ decays

Description

The polarization of the μ+ from the decays K0/sub L/ → π-μ+ν and K+ → π0μ+ν was measured. The transverse polarization forbidden by time reversal invariance is (1.85 +- 3.60) x 10-3 based on the final data sample of thirty-four million events. This null result places constraints on certain models of CP-violation through the exchange of Higgs bosons
