The relationship between information transmission in organizations and trust in superiors

Description
The relationship between information transmission between the upper and lower levels of organizations and trust in superiors was examined based on data from a questionnaire survey. As a result, it was judged that if trust in the boss decreases, information is not being communicated, but trust in the boss increases when the communication is improved. It is necessary for managers to appropriately convey information from above and from below without retarding its flow in order not to reduce the relationship of trust with employees. It was also shown that communication has a significant impact on mental health. (author)

組織の上下間の情報伝達と上司への信頼との関係を質問紙調査のデータを基に検討した.その結果,上司への信頼が低下すれば,情報伝達がされていないと思われるが,情報伝達が向上すると上司への信頼が高まることが示された.したがって,管理職は,一般職との信頼関係を低下させないためにも,上からの情報も下からの情報も留めることなく適切に伝えていく必要がある.また,情報伝達が精神衛生に大きな影響を与えていることも示された.(著者)Additional details
