Solvent extraction of alkali elements with C7-C9 fraction alkyl phenol from carbonate solutions

Description
Regularities of alkali element extraction from carbonate solutions with alkylphenol of the fraction C7-C9 have been studied. It has been shown that extraction of alkali elements does not depend on the nature of a CO32- anion but is determined, mainly, by pH of the aqueous phase. Extraction of alkali elements with alkylphenol solutions in kerosene, octyl and amyl alcohols, and butylacetate has been studied. It has been shown that, when passing from kerosene to octyl alcohol and from octyl to amyl alcohol, the concentration constant of rubidium extraction decreases by an order of magnitude
