Diffractional DWBA model calculation of one-and two particle transfers in 11B+209Bi reaction

  • 1. Nuclear Physics Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai (India)

Description

The one- and two- particle transfer reactions have been studied in past to understand the single particle shell structure and the pairing correlation in nuclei. Diffractional DWBA (DDWBA) model has been carried out for a large number of reactions to study the transfer cross section, and this model has been quite successful to explain the peak like structure of the transfer angular distribution as well as the energy spectra. With similar motivation an experiment carried out to study the target and projectile shell effects in 11B+ 209Bi and 11B+ 208Pb. The details of the experimental and preliminary results are reported
