Time dependent Hartree-Fock approach to the bosonic excitations of the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model in the continuum
Description
We investigate the original NJL model in the framework of a variational approximation for the generators of the mesonic excitations. All the meson modes are described in a unified way as excitations of qanti q pairs, so that the method offers a convenient framework to study the mesonic spectroscopy for both bound states and resonances which are described as Landau damped states. The validity of the ansatz is checked by estimating the deviation from the current algebra relation fπ2ωπ2=-2m0<Φ0vertical strokeanti ψuψvertical strokeΦ0> and the Feynman-Hellman theorem. (orig.)
