Uncertainties for industrial suppliers in view to conversions and designs of research reactors
Description
The different national RERTR-programs have had substantial results and offer clear potential for LEU-fuel. Nevertheless there are still attempts, papers and political actions based on future developments of LEU-fuel. They may create the same uncertainty as 10 years ago again, depending on what plant the industry has to supply. Only one conclusion can be drawn: There has to be an agreement on the results of the RERTR-programs binding for all parties and the industry has a right to demand such agreement after 10 years of heavily subsidised fuel development.
