AC losses of a superconducting wire
- 1. Kyushu Univ., Fukuoka (Japan). Faculty of Engineering
Description
AC losses of superconducting wires in case of the application of AC magnetic field and AC current have been measured numerously. On the other hand, AC losses of superconducting wires have been theoretically calculated only with simple models. In the present report, AC losses of superconducting wires in case of the application of longitudinal AC magnetic field and AC current are calculated respectively with Irie-Yamafuji model. In this model by varying two parameters, different pin forces can be approximately expressed. The method for obtaining pin parameters from experimental results is described. (Mori, K.)
