Description
A brief account is presented of the anti-nuclear movement in the USA. Opposition is analyzed as it concerns waste disposal, economics of nuclear power, safety, environment, or nuclear technology as such. The sociological motives for opposition are considered, and the possible effects of the connexions of nuclear power with big business, big institutions, or big government are discussed. (U.K.)
