Description of the pp→ppπ+π- reaction in the framework of one pion exchange Regge model
Description
Using as an example an anlysis of the pp→ppπ+π- reaction, the author formulates a model of reggesized one-pion exchange (OPER). The model depends on three free parameters. The paper gives a quantitative description of the energy dependence of the reaction from 2 to 205 GeV/c, of mass distribution of particle pairs and distributions over the mass of the pπ+π- system, and also over the transfered momenta. In analyzing all the investigated characteristics of the pp→ppπ+π- reaction it has been found that the theory is in a good quantitative agreement with experimental data
