Description

Moessbauer measurements of the ironorganic polymer [Fe(bipy)ox/sub 1.1/]/sub n/ are performed at 295And 4.2 K. Theoretical spectra are calculated using a semiclassical spin-Hamiltonian in the f=itting procedure. Iron is submitted in three several states. Two of the three subspectra show magnetic splitting at 4.2 K. This refers to long range order, because a very slowly relaxing paramagnet would be represented by another shape of the spectrum.
