We discuss a few properties of scattering amplitudes proved within the framework of the field theory and their significance in the derivation of quantitative statements. The state of the boundaries for the scattering lengths is to be especially discussed as well as the question as to how far it is possible to exclude various solutions from phase displacement analyses. Wir diskutieren die Streuamplituden auf Grund der im Rahmen der Feldtheorie bewiesenen Eigenschaften und ihre Bedeutung zur Ableitung quantitativer Aussagen. Im besonderen soll der Stand der Schranken fuer Streulaengen und die Frage besprochen werden, wie weit es moeglich ist, verschiedene Loesungen von Phasenverschiebungsanalysen auszuschliessen.
