An exact solution of the Einstein-Cartan field equations

Description

The exact solution of Einstein-Cartan field equations is obtained for an artificial fluid with radially polarized spins, spherically symmetric and under static condition; the energy-momentum metric tensor is taken as zero. The gravitational dynamics is studied for various intensities of torsion (or fluid spin), through the analysis of motion of spinless test particles; in particular, for vanishing torsion we reobtain the Schwarzschild solution. The gravitational effects related to torsion are found sometimes attractive, sometimes repulsive, depending on the value of spin density and on the position and velocity of the test particle. A solucao exata das equacoes de Einstein-Cartan e obtida para um fluido artificial com spins radialmente polarizados, sob simetria esferica e em condicao estatica, sendo nulo o tensor metrico de energia-momento. A dinamica gravitacional e estudada para diversas intensidades da torcao (ou spins do fluido), atraves do movimento de particulas teste sem spin; em particular, para torcao nula reobtem-se a solucao de Schwarzschild. Observa-se que os efeitos gravitacionais associados a torcao ora sao atrativos ora sao repulsivos, dependendo dos valores do spin do fluido e da posicao e velocidade da particula teste. (Autor)
