Description
Cross sections of the 238U(n, 2n)237U reaction have been determined by the activation method for neutron energies of 6.54, 6.78, 7.00, 7.50, 7.99, 8.50, 8.99, 9.49, 10.00, and 10.50 MeV. Neutron flux density was measured by three standard reactions. Corrections for background neutrons and sample counting are discussed. Measured data are compared with results of previously reported experiments. (author)
