New method for calculating shields parallel to rectangular surface sources

Description

If an appropriate coordinate system is chosen, the application of the point kernel method in calculating the attenuation of gamma rays emitted from rectangular surface sources behind parallel shields leads to relations more suitable for numerical evaluation than those previously employed. (author)
