Description

It is shown that electronic parameters of ligands (I, Te inclusively) on IR spectroscopic scale ε can be transformed into the Hammett scale σ by means of dividing by 100. A system of coordinates, describing electronic effects in random transition and nontransition elements, including aromatic and aliphatic carbon compounds, which can be employed in all fields of chemistry. The system comprises molecules of different geometry (square, tetrahedron, trigonal bipyramide, octahedron, benzene ring) and reflects mutual arrangement of substituents (cis, trans; ax, ax, ax, eq, eq, eq; m, n). Account of the charge is possible. Equations for the calculation of anionic ligand constants by σI and σR are provided. Values of σ for 175 neutral, cationic and anionic 1,2,3- and 5-electron substituents (ligands) are given. 29 refs.; 4 tabs
