Variation of the optical energy gap with composition in Cd1-x Mnx Se solid solutions

Description
The variation of the energy gap of Cd1-xMnxSe crystalline powders with macro- and micro-residual stress relief was measured by the diffuse reflectance method in the composition range 0≤x≤0.5 at room temperature. A linear dependence of the energy gaps and the lattice constants was obtained in the range of 0≤x≤0.5. (Author)
